“Can a mother forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, but I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.” Isaiah 49:15-16 NKJV
The bond between a mother and child is one of the strongest connections (ties) in nature; from the early stages of pregnancy, God has tied both mother and child together through a pipe called umblical cord till the baby is ready to be born. And over time, Mothers do demonstrates unequaled, and unparalleled affection to prove their deep love for their Children because of what they went through in child bearing, and to show that nothing can separate them. With this tagline, the scripture says it is possible for a mother to forget her child. Very true, We live in a time where women (mothers) abandones their babies daily at hospitals, waste dumps, and street corners for best reasons known to them. We live in a time where mothers and daughters are at war, and at each others throats over the love of one man. We live in a time where mothers abandons her matrimonial home without taking cognizance of what befalls her children left behind. Unfortunately still, wars, famines, disasters, deaths, disagreement, troubles are also common and greatest causes of family disintegration. Whenever these inevitabilities rare its ugly heads against close tied families, the consequencies is always intensely fatal as it succumb their relationship’s knees to everlasting divisions and a painful separation.
Be that as it may, there is a Controller of all things in Heaven, where we originated from, and where we are going back to someday. No matter how much our earthly mother or anyone loves us, we have our history dated back with God, the Master of the Universe, our Creator, who knew us from our beginning because He Created us ever before we met with any of our earthly relations. This God made us to understand that we are not an accident on earth, we do not crashland into this terrain. He said, we are creation of plan and purpose, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord , thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.” Jeremiah 29:11-12 NKJV
Yes, before Adam was created, God has made available what Adam would feed on, what a good God He is!. We are not an incident, neither are we a comma (,) or a semi- colons (;) to someone else’ statements (life), we are individuals of originality, not even the identical twins amongst us are alike, our eyes prints, finger prints, foot prints are masterpiece. Each one of us is a full statement. I am short of appropriate word, but The Psalmist sum it up beautifully, “I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.” Psalms 139:14-16 NKJV. When you know this Truth, you will accept who you are, and not trying so hard of becoming someone else, you will take your positions as it is require of you.
Not only that, Each one of us are here on a particular mission, that is the reason why you must find what is your purpose on earth, and stop running another man’s race. We are a solution to the earth’s problem, each one of us carries His direct DNA in us, this is the reason He could not afford to allowed us to be lost. The fact that the Son of God Himself died for our sins reveals our extreme value to our Father. No one sheds his blood to redeem what is worthless. Christ’s death proves there is no price God would not pay for His children. He is our’s by creation, He is our’s by Covenant, He is our’s by the Blood. He knows us before our earthly parents met with us. This revelation He shared with Prophet Jeremiah when He said to him, “Before I formed you into the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5 NKJV God showed Jeremiah his manufacturing manual.
If you know the Truth about your components, in the face of any situation, you will lift up your head, and say confidently with Apostle Paul, one of the solders of faith, “What then shall we say to these things (challenges of life)? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:31-32, 34-39 NKJV
Situation in life can be depressing sometimes, but Our Lord Jesus told us, “Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore do not fear. You are more valuable than many sparrows.” (Luke 12:6–7). Meaning we are precious before The Father, what a profound statement! What a Word of Peace, comfort, and of assurance. He further said, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
Matthew 7:7-8, 11 NKJV
As we are on the mission on this earth, His loving eyes are fixed on us to guide and keep us. God assured His people in the Book of Isaiah, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.” Isaiah 43:2 NKJV
He is Strength of the weak (Isaiah 40:29) “You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself.” Exodus 19:4 NKJV
You as a child of God must be confident of who you are, do not be a part-time child of God. In the time of trouble He is with you, King David was more than persuaded that God was with him when he said, “Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, yet, the presence of God never forsook me.’ Ps.23:4. From his numerous personal experiences he bore witness that those who trust in the Lord never go hungry.
Apostle Paul recounted his time of adversity, he said God remained faithful to him and his team always. “We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed— always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. So then death is working in us, but life in you.” II Corinthians 4:8-12 NKJV
He is Father of the fatherless, the defender of widows (Psalms 68:5)
The Husband of the widow “For your Maker is your husband, The Lord of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth.” Isaiah 54:5 NKJV
Friend of sinners/lonely, Luke 5:32, Jesus says that He did not come to call the righteous to repentance, but the unrighteous. So if Jesus was going to call the unrighteous to repentance, He needed to hang out with the unrighteous.
Hope to the hopeless (Psalms 147:11)
Joy of the sad, “The helpless commits himself to You; You are the helper of the fatherless.” Psalms 10:14 NKJV
Light to those in darkess (Luke 1:79; Isaiah 9:2)
Peace to the troubled (John 14:27)
So, You are not forgotten my friends, we are not abandoned; There is nothing He created that He cannot control. He is on top of that situation. He is working behind the scene, and in due cause of time, things will work out beautifully. He is beautiful for all situation. Relax, you will hold your own baby like Sarah. Relax you will get that Job, your wedding day is around the corner, He said, “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.” John 14:18 NKJV. As He visited Sarah, He has not changed, He will visit you. He heard your cries, He saw your tears. We have a God who can see, we have a God who have ears ( Exo.3:7)
Our God is committed to His Word, He said, He had written your name in His right palm, are you not amazed that GOD HAS A TATOOS of you?
Whenever you take a wrong turn, because His eyes are constantly fasted on you He will show you direction where to take, “you will hear a voice behind you” Per adventure you missed it, even in the land of darkness, He is with you because light and darkness are not barrier for Him to move on your behalf.
From the beginning of history to the end of time, who has ever opposed His Children successfully? Agrippa, Pharaoh, Nebu, Senacharib, Herod, Goliath, or satan itself, whose end has been pronounced. I am happy to say None, I am glad to remind you of His faithful Infallible Word, “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth…and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Matthew 28:18-20 NKJV
